Hi Jane, I really liked the frame with the texture look. Have fun at the lake even though you have cleaning to do. It is just the change of scenery can make a big difference. I hope you take pictures to share on your vacation. We have had storms the last couple of days and today it was very hot and muggy. We are still at 83 degrees. Enjoy your weekend. Hugs from Your Missouri Friend.

Well done Jane. The frames were fun and turned out pretty. I am not a DIY girl either. I did spray paint some sad looking candleabras turquoise and they all sold on consignment. Might have to keep buying that color of spray paint. Have fun at the lake. I cannot keep either of my houses clean. I do not know how you do it. CC who is twenty but a mama's girl is keeping me busy now that she is home for five weeks.

Have fun up at the lake, Jane! I know you've been itching to get up there! : ) Love your frames project and I'm looking forward to see what you do to the tray. The weather here has been so humid, with rain and thunderstorms on occasion, but it certainly isn't cooling things off. And it certainly isn't doing anything for my hair!

Enjoy your weekend my friend, HUGS!

Your frames turned out neat. It's always fun to work on a project when you're bored. My husband fly fishes too! How about that. Me? Can't stand fishing of any kind AT ALL. I don't understand why everyone likes it so much. That's just me I guess. I guess you either love it or don't. Ha! I'm a flip flops gal too. Can't beat the freedom. You've got a HUGE collection of flipflops! Guess I need to check out Old Navy then.

By now you're having a good time at the lake, I'm sure.

I've got to look for that paint. Sounds interesting to have a bit of texture and the color is awesome.

You and me both girlfriend with the flipflop collection. I keep a basket by the door. So many colors, and not enough feet. I always wonder why I love them so much when our summers here in Oregon are so short so I don't even get to wear them for very long. I think it's the old California habits still hanging on.

Sue said...

Look at all those flip flops...love them! I can't walk in them for hours the way I used to. I need a bit more support if I'm going to be on my feet a long time. I really love all those jammie colors!!

I have a couple things I want to paint...I like the idea of the textured look. You did a great job. Love the color combo.

So wish I had a lake home to go to on weekends...I know it is more work, but it sounds so great. We did have one when I was a kid, in fact we moved out there for the summer and my dad drove back and forth to work. Those were the days!
