A LUNCH WITH BLOGGER FRIENDS

Every day has been interesting and fun.  Yesterday we visited Maggie Valley and we saw the most incredible sights while driving through the mountains and valleys.  We stopped in Cherokee and browsed through all of the shops with handmade items.  We also visited the Cherokee Indian Museum

After lunch the clouds opened and we had a tremendous amount of rain.  Thankfully it cleared up by evening and we went downtown for dinner at The Lobster Trap.  We ate there last year and I was so looking forward to it!  And I had the Lobster Newburg again!

I'm not sure what we will be doing tomorrow, each day gets better and better!  We fly home on Saturday.  So far my adult children have been good.  Emily is a little lost lamb with her fiance away on business in Indianapolis and me here.  Abigail texts me constantly to tell me Emily is moping around and not cleaning up after herself (she includes graphic pictures of a filled kitchen sink!!).  So as you can see, I am really enjoying my time away!!  See you in a few days! :-)

I used to antiques shop in Waynesville about 25 years ago. It may not be any different for you now. It sounds as if you had a lovely time with the blogging buddies. I have one blogging friend that I see in person and we have the most fun together. If you ever get to Ga. or S.C. I would love to see you. I would drive just about anywhere. Georgia is huge but I would surely do it. Have a safe trip home, olive.

I'm so very glad you had a great time in Asheville. The area around there is just beautiful with all the mountain views. Next year you need to bring and empty suitcase with you.

Jane dear, Bob and I so enjoyed meeting you and The Husband! It was a fun lunch and made even more special sharing it all with the two Pennies!!! We were drenched getting to the car in that storm so shopping at the ScreenDoor was a bit chilly....I was very damp!

Thank you again for my gorgeous gift - will be hanging it and photographing it later today now we are home again.

Have a great day and a safe trip home tomorrow.
Our hugs - Mary (and Bob) XX

Hi Jane,
