A LITTLE BATHROOM MAGIC

Whew!  This was fun!  A whole new look and minutes to put it together.  That's gratifying!  Let me know if you like the changes.  And check out your Target...they moved the entire home section all around and I could swear there was a bigger inventory in the bath department.  Did you know my Target has underground parking?  Ahhh...city life!

Tomorrow is an exciting day.  We have two appointments at bridal shops to start looking for Emily's wedding gown.  You might remember the big day is May 10, 2013.  It's fast approaching!  I can't wait to see my baby girl in a bridal gown!  I know I am going to cry!  I'm not sure what else we have on the agenda for the weekend, our first at home in 2 months.  But you know me, I'll be telling you all about it next week!  Have a great weekend! :)

Hi jane, I'm so excited for you and your daughter! Looking for dresses is so fun, don't let it overwhelm you. You will have such a great time shopping. So many possibilities! Have fun!

Have so much fun looking for dresses - even better than browsing Target (which I love too!)

I love all the new touches to your guest bath. That curtain just brightens the room and I love that they had a towel to match. The rug is perfect in there too. I almost hate to go to Target because I never get out of there for under $100. I was just there Thursday and went way overboard.

The most exciting thing of all has to be looking for your daughter's wedding dress. Try not to cry to much.

I love a five minute bathroom makeover. I just did one yesterday too. It's a great way to give the room and one's self a little lift. Hope you have a lovely weekend.

I LOVE the new look! The lattice rug design also makes the room look bigger. It's WONDERFUL to have a room with neutral background so you can totally change the look when you want. "LOVE IT"!!! Target really has lots of fun styles!!!

Your bathroom looks great- those small changes make a world of difference, don't they?

After having two daughters get married-and try on gowns- the one that makes you burst into spontaneous crying is THE dress- never fails- xo Diana

I like your changes in the bath. I just love to change things. I need a Target visit, but it's 35 miles to the nearest one, so I will wait until I need to be in that town for other things.

Have a great weekend in the wedding shops.

Love playing with the bathroom accessories. I really need to paint and I am going back and forth between what color to do it. Maybe in the fall! The new curtain and rug look great. I love Target ~ they are coming but not fast enough for my liking!

What a beautiful bathroom facelift! That's really good to know about Target, would you believe I've only been in Target 2 or 3 times! We renovated our bathroom a few years ago, and I still have just the plastic shower liner, only blinds on the windows . . .

Have a blast shopping for a wedding gown, and bring lots of tissues!

Have fun with your daughter tomorrow. Remember your camera! This is a very special day! When my daughter found "the dress" I cried so hard and was so frazzled that on the way home I ran a red light!!!!! Be careful out there and soak it all in. They will become the sweetest memories!

The added brightness of color made a huge impact in this small bath. I really like the rug too. We rarely shopped at Target for a long time, but last year I spotted the shabby chic line and began going to purchase some of Rachel's things too. Have a great weekend!

Love the new shower curtain and rug, Jane! Simple things that can make a big difference {and make us happy!}. Yes, I can get into a lot of trouble in the bath and bedding section at Target!

It is amazing, isn't it, what a few small changes can do to a room, and to our spirits! I like all the new stuff in your bathroom! I'm about to paint mine and then put on the finishing touches which I'm still thinking about. I think I've gotten the color down.

Love your curtains at the window--we have the same tastes there!

Hi Jane, I was just in Target looking at bathroom stuff too. I fell in love with their shower curtains by her..shabby chic. I'm thinking now I need to go back and get it. Love the changes you made. Now that my daughter is married I'm going to change her bathroom, and bedroom. A little shabby chic perhaps...
I'm with Gretchen, I never get out of there for less than a $100!

Sorry I haven't been 'here' more ~ just a lot going on.

I love the changes in your bathroom! I was at Target one day last week and yes, it's dangerous for me to go there. I think they have a lot of bath items now that remind me of those at Anthro. Luscious textures and colors!

You're going to have fun with the wedding planning! I hope your daughter enjoys every moment of it.

Bathroom make over turned out great!!!! I am in the middle of a HUGE REMODEL in my Master Bath & WOW you can really drop a bundle of CASH redoing a bathroom. But, wow changes are great! Great Job. So very pretty, both versions! I love Target too. I just bought more red towels for our main floor bath. I am still loving the red and white dotted curtain in there from Target and decided I needed more towels. Even though the bath towel is seldom used, I need enough to round out a red load on laundry day. The red towels bleed for quite a while in the wash although it isn't noticeable, fade wise.

I can't wait to read about the wedding plans! Shall I start sending you coupons for Kleenex?

Wow...the shower curtain change really made a difference in the entire look and I love that rug. I don't get in a Target store often, but I love it when I do. It is like HomeGoods, dangerous!!
