Today is Friday's Favorite Family Foto's hosted by Deborah at Pictures, Pots and Pens. This is my first time participating and I look forward to doing so again because if there is anything I love more, it is family! :-)

Last Friday was a very strange day at Blondie's house. For some reason we girls were all working away, humming away as it were, at the same time. Emily, love of my life and firstborn daughter, was hard at work on her design for a commercial office space for her interior design course. She is in her second of four years. This particular project is difficult, she is doing the layout of an office from the cubicles to the lighting and electrical wiring. Heavy stuff! I have contemplated getting her a drafting table but she really prefers to do her work in the kitchen surrounded by a lot of commotion for some strange reason. Our house is always full of that so I guess there is no escaping. Poor kid.

Abby was hard at work on her homework. I was surprised that she sat down to do it instead of taking her usual nap. Notice Layla curled up between her legs. Layla is Abby's nap buddy and isn't going to let a little homework get in the way! By the way, Abby did scamper away after this for a little snooze!

And here is Blondie hard at work. On what? Blogging of course! Don't mind the laundry pile by the top of the stairs. I'll get around to that sooner or later. First things first!!!

Finally, we have to get Milo in here. What would a post be without my boy getting in on the action! Notice my dogs have full reign of the furniture in the house. Yes, even the kitchen table!
I hope you visit Deborah and see what all the other gals have to offer today. Family photo's are the best. They make us proud. Today I'm hoping for tomorrows good grades!

Hi Janie!
I am so glad you joined us today...woo hoo!!!

I didn't realize that you have a daugther named Abby, too! How neat is that? Your daughters look very intent on getting their jobs done...that's a GOOD sign! I love that you say blogging comes FIRST...that's how it is at my house, more often than not!

I enjoyed taking a look at your family busily working away...wait, does blogging count as WORK? Well, you do have to work your fingers to the bone typing all those keys! I say YES!!! :)

Hi Janie :)
It's fun to see photos of your family. My son is the same as your Emily - he likes to have commotion. It helps him concentrate better! lol
And fun that you put a photo of yourself in there blogging, too. :)

A good feeling when everyone is busy at something in the house. I especially love it when all is quiet and everyone is reading, on the computer, writing...good for the mind.

Thanks for sharing you and your girls and the doggies with us!

So glad you stopped by for a visit with SPRING! Now remember us this summer when we are cooking down here & send a little "cool" love to us. :) Cute photos of you & the girls. I have all boys. Isn't that funny how it works out sometimes. And yes, the laundry pile over took me today. I had to charge in there & show it who was boss.

Oh, I love this post, it looks so inviting. Your daughter and I would get along great, my favorite place to work is in the kitchen which drives everyone nuts. Having said that, I also have messed up the dining room table and now I am beginning to take over the family room with started projects and paint boxes. Your home looks great. of my closest friends used to wait so long that on laundry day the kids were walking around in their bathing suits, because there was nothing else to wear. P.S. her home was the most fun place to be!

Welcome to Friday's Favorite Family Foto! Don't worry about the laundry. I have some clothes piled on my dining room table right now. Blogging's more fun anyway!

I noticed your comment at Amongst the Oaks about loading pictures and writing text. I have discovered that if you hit the space bar instead of a click or enter the picture moves down and you can get the cursor above the picture to start your text before the picture. I happened on that by accident one day. Hope that helps.

I have a little gift for you on my Sunday post!
