I loved finding out what you've been up to and seeing garden pics along with ones of the beautiful moth. I have a file I keep of moth and butterfly pictures but I don't think I have this one. I can't help but feeling really sad that their lives are so short. Your orzo dish sounds delicious! I do love the slippery feeling of orzo. In answer to your questions, number 1 changes from day to day, month to month, doesn't it? I go along fine and then surprise myself by bursting into tears. I don't mind staying home but I do miss out of town family being able to come stay with us for a weekend and having big family celebrations. Our garden is a daily source of delight and comfort, as is cooking. My only exercise consists of doing my PT exercises here at home and walking in our yard of 2 1/2 acres and housework. How I wish I had begun yoga when I was younger! My youngest sister has stuck to it all her adult life and looks wonderful.

Love to you,
Dewena

Dewenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07330797553600987145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6702005723584006500.post-34485007422183898252020-07-16T22:45:29.058-05:002020-07-16T22:45:29.058-05:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator. And the sweet smile of her sister. Oh be still my heart.

Still distancing - so not seeing any family or friends and it's been very hard. I try not to get too sad, but my little grand is growing up so fast and for nearly 5 months I haven't been able to see it. Thanks the good Lord above for FT and texting, though. Can't even imagine not having it. I'd be in the loony bin.

Glad your pootch is all better. That's difficult.

Big hugs. I envy that you have a place to escape, and have a change of scenery. I am really starting to feel closed in even though I'm outside as much as possible.
Poor Poppy! My dog was sick earlier in the month, and thankfully she is better now.
Oh, that moth! Amazing!
In answer to your questions:
1) I'm coping okay, but must admit that it's getting harder because there now seems to be no end in sight to this madness. It makes me angry that people aren't complying with wearing masks, and social distancing! The numbers are good here in NJ and NY -things are opening properly to keep the virus from spiraling out of control.Wish other states would have learned from us.
2) The flowers in my garden are doing great! We fenced in the yard last summer so this is the first time the deer haven't eaten everything.
3) I never love to cook, but I'm getting tired of the same things, so I recently made Huli Huli chicken (good!) and a pasta dish with chicken sausage, corn and leeks (good!) and a Korean meatballs recipe that I got from another blogger (delish!).
4. Activities, hmmmmm. I'm exercising 5 days a week and doing yoga stretches (which I've always done, even pre-Covid). Otherwise, taking pictures, social distancing with friends, and eating way too much.
My goodness, I've written an entire blog post here.
Amy xoxo Amy at Ms. Toody Goo Shoeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11474198992341706776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6702005723584006500.post-84687586430692460282020-07-10T16:13:58.112-05:002020-07-10T16:13:58.112-05:00You have a lovely phamily. I love the idea of remaking the wedding gown into a christening gown. Lucy June's is so beautiful, so are she and Madelyn (and their names!). That niece used had mother's (my sister's) wedding gown made over into a cute dress for the rehearsal dinner.
I've been a cooking and baking fool throughout COVID. Hope your 4th is a good one.
